How long does it take to deflate and pack up the balloon?

It depends on the size of the balloon and the landing place, but the average time is between 20 and 30 minutes, not really much ,considering the enormous size of the balloon. A hot air balloon for 10 passengers has approximately 1,800 square meters of fabric and weighs around 200 kg. The basket weighs about 190 kg and the burner about 35 kg. Each propane cylinder, it carries 4, weighs around 50 kg. While a balloon for two people and a pilot, can be easily packed up by two people, a bigger balloon needs the voluntary cooperation of the passengers or a little more time and effort from the chase crew and the pilot.
